Spontaneous Road Trip!

Thought y'all might like to see the space we booked through AirBnB last weekend! 

  

We requested the booking on Friday around noon, just before we left home.  We had only decided to go on the trip that morning, and had kinda figured we would just find a cheap hotel room...

but as I finished packing the cooler Mike looked online at hotels in the area and wasn't impressed!  Not only were the choices rather limited, but the prices for what seemed safe and clean, were all over $100 per night!!!

We jumped on our AirBnB account and did a quick search of the area.  There were several hosts within reasonable distance from our Saturday destination, and many had space available!  

We found an available apartment and practically booked it as we walked out the door.  

Our hostess, Maggie, was in contact within minutes!  

She noticed that we were a married couple and offered us their second studio apartment (which has one larger bed, rather than two twin beds), which we gladly accepted!  She sent clear instructions about parking and such, and met us on arrival too!

The apartment was amazing...

We are, again, thrilled to have chosen AirBnB over a hotel/motel, and highly recommend trying it out!
