A Walk to Listen - a Micro-Film

My friend, Ivy, and I are partnering with the ladies over at Every Bitter Thing Is Sweet (Find them on Instagram!), and producing a micro-film that corresponds to the Adoration theme of each week! =D
Now, if you don't know what "Adoration" is, you definitely need to follow @everybitterthingissweet on Instagram! Every week has a theme phrase, that reflects on who God is. Every day, Sara posts an picture - The picture contains the phrase, and a verse relating to it. The goal is to use the phrase to reflect on and adore our God throughout the day! The adoration corresponding to this video was is, "You are the God who uses delay to grow my belief." I've followed Adoration for several months now, and have loved it! After much discussion with Ivy, I contacted Sarah Hagerty (she's the author of the book, "Every Bitter Thing Is Sweet", and the writer behind Adoration) to ask if we could turn the weekly theme into inspirational short-films. Sara was excited about the idea and graciously gave us early access to the coming Adoration phrases and scripture citations.
Ivy and I put together a plan and put a casting call out on facebook. (We are very grateful to my friend, Crystal, for volunteering in our project!!!) Everything was in place, we were set to film on Monday morning! But then Ivy got sick on Sunday... and was too sick to film on Monday! So, because of the deadline for finishing the video, Crystal and I shot alone on Monday morning!
It was about 15 degrees outside, the snow was squeaky crisp, and we had the park all to ourselves. Crystal and I shot for about an hour, then she headed home and I finished pick-up shots. And, a perk of film-making, we got some pretty neat pictures too!
